Even though nothing new or exciting has happened in my life since finding out that we're having a girl, I figure if I check other people's blogs more than once a week, someone's gotta be looking at mine to see if I've updated. So, I'll write about nothing. :)
Since Sean has been working over an hour's drive away, I've been hanging out at my parents' house a lot more often that before. One great thing about that is I don't have to prepare my own food-which makes me totally sick. The bad thing is that I get this really weird cravings and I don't always get what I want, when I want it. I know that makes me kind of a baby, but when you're puking up less often then before, you want to indulge in your cravings. That's one of my most favorite things about Sean, if I'm craving something-I get it. Sometimes I don't keep it down, sometimes it's not what I thought I wanted (peaches out of season do NOT taste as good as you remember them to be), sometimes I eat a few bites and make Sean finish it. Fortunately, he's always been good at letting me indulge in my cravings and not complaining too much when it doesn't "work out." (He knows it's not really my fault).
Since finding out that we're having a girl, I've been trying to find different crib-bedding coordinates that fit our style. So far, unless you're having a definate blue=boy/pink=girl theme, it's usually green and yellow that you're stuck with. I found some really cute monkey stuff, but of course that was in blue. The girls got pink bunnies (not my style). There were some yellow Koala bears that were kinda cute. But, it also said "I'm so cute" right on it (The blue ones said "playtime" and the pink ones said "princess"). I'm not trying to dress my kid in the "safe" colors of yellow and green-I'm just trying to avoid pink! I feel I'm going to be making my own crib-bedding to fit our style (and budget) in the end. But, I can deal with that. Since I've been feeling better, I've actually been feeling the urge to start sewing again. I haven't really made anything since our Halloween costumes (which were totally amazing, if I may say so myself. We were pirates-authentic looking ones).
I got this really cute pattern and material to make a little baby sundress. It's a pukered gingham in baby blue with eyelet lacing on the bottom. It should be really cute, I'm going to start making it next week. I'll have to post a picture when I'm done. I know she's going to be born in September, but thankfully it should still be warm enough that she'll be able to wear it for a little bit before it gets too cold to wear sundresses.
Sean and I started discussing names for the baby, but so far we've done nothing but make our list of names we DON'T like longer. I really, really, really wanted to name our baby Emma (Emma Smith, Emma the character from the novel by Jane Austen, etc). But, Sean's sister Heather named her youngest girl Emmalee, so it's just too close for cousins. I mean, I personally have 61 first cousins (on both sides) and there are some that have the same name. But, none of the cousins have the same name and are on the same side (Does that makes sense? I mean, I have a cousin Mike on my mom's side and my dad's side. Get it?). So, to have an Emmalee and an Emma would just be too much. Total bummer. :(
Well, like I said, I was going to write about nothing and nothing exciting has been happening for me. If any of you want to give us some ideas for baby names, leave us a comment with your suggestions. We really have no ideas at the moment. No names, that we like. None.

The only names I would suggest are names I want to use myself...... so I can't suggest them because I want them to remain less common :) But there is one name I really like that I don't think we'll use and that's Eliza. Not Elizabeth, mind you, just Eliza.
To name a few of my favorites: Luella,Gigi,Electra,Aspen,Leelasha,
Blazer.... i think my favorite is Aspen Ashley Aberg! Good luck! girls names gave me heartburn! I know you guys will find a good one though with my helpful hints!
hey! i just got back from the dance and i forgot to tell you that jenny (the girl that works with sean) says hi! but i still like tia, but sean said no.. so im kinda bummed... just name her after me... Aj!!! =D or jennifer works too =D
Congratulations on having a girl... Maybe our kids can be friends. Well as far as the bedding goes you can look on eBay, their are a lot of cute crib sets. (Purple isn't pink and it's not used that often in the bedroom, it could be cute with brown and light teal) and as for names I like Devin, Kris, & Abby...
If you ever need to get out I am always available. I know how bad it sucks to be stuck at home with nothing to do.
PS. you mentioned you don't have TV; you can always watch TV online. (Example: abc.com, fox.com etc. thats what I do, we don't have TV either.

Try this website. http://babynamewizard.com
it tells you what years names were most popular. Chris and I really liked it when choosing Lillian's name.
Sorry, I forgot to tell you, in order to see the graph of how popular the name was over the years you have to go to the Name Voyager.
Hey Amy! Congrats on the baby! I like the name Emma. Very nice! I'll have to tell Liz about your blog. How funny.
Tommy and I played LIFE the other day. Thanks again for that.
Your wedding photo above is absolutely beautiful! Sorry we couldn't make it.
Looking forward to more posts and pictures! Take care.
AMY! A baby girl? Congrats!!!! I am with Rachel about my names... I want to keep them for myself... How selfish of me:). I like really classic names like Eva, Isabel, Dora... I don't know why. My grandma and her sisters have the coolest names EVER. All those I listed come from them...
