8 months along, 8 weeks to go

I got a phone call this morning letting me know that my sister Ashley's water had broken and she's currently in the hospital getting ready to push out my nephew. This will be my first blood nephew (I inherited 4 nieces and a nephew when I married Sean). Super exciting.
I went to the Doctor's on Monday to check and see how Cali is doing. At 32 weeks, she's apparently already 4 lbs 6 oz. That means that, since my appointment with my other doctor two weeks ago, she's gained a pound since 30 weeks.
The same doesn't go for me. I gained a pound in 4 weeks. My doctor says I should be gaining a pound a week. But, since Cali is gaining weight (I guess 4 lbs is bigger for a 32-week-old fetus), he's not too worried about me as long as I stay hydrated.
Things at work continue to go well for Sean. He surprized me one day this week by coming home at 8 o'clock (instead of 11), working only a 12 hour shift. I get really bored during the day being home alone for so long. Thankfully, since Sean is the GM, I'm able to go visit him whenever I want. He's not always available to talk, but I know I can get some really good free food whenever I feel like it. Like their sweet potato fries, which are amazing.

Sounds yummy. I'll have to try some next time I visit. I'm glad you are able to eat. Congradulations on your blood nephew.

Wow, a lot of posts since I left! I love it! Kudos to Sean for all of his hard work! And a big "you'll make it" to you for all of your alone time. Things have been crazy for Boyd at work recently, so I've had some pretty boring days as well. (But don't worry, I spend my time reading books of the Twilight Series. Yes, I'm still obsessed).

Oh, and sorry about your fridge! We came home from our vacation to find that our air conditioner was broken. Although my food may be cold we're all freakin' hot!
