Food I eat

I have a problem with food. I like to eat it, but I am very picky about the foods I eat. Unfortunately, on a budget of $20-30/week for food, I eat crappy cheap food. I want to eat better, but it's hard when you can buy a box of Pasta-Roni to feed your family for a dollar and apples are "on sale" for $2/pound. This is what I usually eat on a weekly basis:

Every morning I have a bowl of Grape-nuts

Sometimes for lunch I have strawberry yogurt
I put Oh's in it to give it a little crunch
Cali usually gets a pb&j, sometimes I do too
Or else she gets some chicken nuggets
For a snack, I eat an orange (if we have them)
Cali gets a quesadilla, and I eat one too
We get strawberries when they're on sale
For dinner, we can sometimes afford to get a pizza to make at home
Or else we eat Top Ramen,
Use Mariana sauce with either...
Cheese Tortellini...
or Angel Hair
If money's really tight then it's usually Pasta-Roni,
Burritos,
Chicken Salad sandwiches (if my parents gave us canned chicken),
Or more cereal.
Sometimes, when Sean does a delivery, we splurge and get Tacos from Jack in the Box.

So, as you can see, I have a problem. Which is probably why I can't seem to lose any weight!
P.S. I tried to use photos of brands I actually use.

It's way hard to eat healthy on a budget but you don't have to buy all healthy stuff to loose weight.. that would take the fun out of food haha... just stick to the portions sizes per meal and graze on foods all day so you don't get hungery... You are doing great.. Keep learning about things that can be frozen so you can buy them when they are on sale (like frozen veges/fruit- a lot less expensive) buy bread when it's on sale and freeze it so you have it on hand and it's not so costly. It is still hard but you can do it! Portion control is the key, when your funds are tight and "healthy" stuff is too costly hehe...
